SiN Reloaded Wages of SiN in Reloaded

2015 Inc's pack after Elexis: Gianni Manero, new mutants, crossbow detonator, and when to play it.

Last updated:

Wages of SiN

Wages of SiN is the 1999 mission pack built by 2015 Inc. Reloaded ships it in the same product as the main campaign. You do not buy it separately on 24 September 2026. Play it after Elexis and the Thrall. Elexis is missing; Freeport’s next problem is mafia boss Gianni Manero cooking leftover U4 into a private mutant army. JC is still in your ear. The pack is still single-player. Grover Wimberly IV put Wages at about 4 hours after a 6–7 hour main campaign (closer to 12 with secrets).

If you jump in from the Steam demo because Something of a Paradox appeared in a trial patch, stop. Paradox is a museum map from this pack, not chapter one of Manero’s story. Beat the Walkthrough first.

Story and where you fight

Neon club interior from Wages of SiN in SiN Reloaded

Mutant attacks resume around a construction site that dug too close to something it should not have. The trail runs through sewers, a secret drug lab, Onethumb’s club, vacant buildings, Daenzer shipping, crane shipyards, waterfront fights, Something of a Paradox, Manero’s tower, casino, and penthouse, then mutation and breeding facilities and an offshore nuclear plant.

Manero is a mob boss with a photon shield and a helicopter. He engineers goliath mutants under Freeport Bay. Day and night variants of some maps exist depending on an early decision — same streets, different guards. If daylight feels easy, the other branch is waiting on a second save.

New gadgets: flashlight, night-vision, usable ropes, and more NPC talks than the original campaign. Bind them when the pack starts; Controls is the remapper.

Guns: speargun, crossbow, and the pack kit

2015 Inc added weapons on alt-fire or double-tap slots. Reloaded touched these:

  • Crossbow / plasma bow. Wages weapon. Charge it; a tap is a weak lob, a hold is the real shot. Reloaded adds a detonator switch. Plant a bolt, break line of sight, detonate. That is how you clear a penthouse drone room without eating splash. Plasma bolts also chew Manero’s photon shield in the finale — keep ammo for that, not for the first spider mutant in a tunnel.
  • Speargun. This is a main campaign underwater gun, not a Wages pickup. Reloaded made it more effective underwater. If you skipped it in the oil-rig / underwater pass, you already missed its best maps. Wages itself does not rebuild those dives; do not expect harpoons to be the pack’s star. Bring Magnums and the bow.
  • Dual Magnums. Independent fire and reload in Reloaded matters even more here because 2015 Inc rooms mix drones and tight stairs. Stagger the triggers.
  • Flamethrower. Reloaded’s damage buff makes it a mutant-pit tool in the breeding facility. Save it for flesh, not for helicopters.
  • Stinger pack / IP36-style nuker. Late pack toys. Do not fire a mini-nuke in a closet. Treat them with the same respect as the Quantum Destabilizer in the main game — Combat Guide for overcharge and splash discipline.

Spider mutants, wall crawlers, breakdancing horrors, and the goliath supermutants are the new meat. Shotgun and chaingun still work. The bow’s detonator is the new answer to rooms you cannot peek. Rank the pack guns next to the campaign list on weapons and loadouts.

Mutants, Manero, and the finale

Early tunnels teach flashlight discipline: spider things, a shotgun mutant, then mafia mixed with U4 leftovers. Mid pack is urban — club, shipping, shipyards — mercs with better toys than Mancini’s bank crew. Paradox is a museum palate cleanser; Demo Update #1 even patched its lightmaps.

The breeding facility is the sponge fight. Goliaths take rockets, nukes, and time. Circle-strafe; do not Magnum them. The offshore plant is Manero: helicopter first (nuker or rockets), photon shield second (charged plasma bolts), stealth phase third (night-vision, or the crosshair going live). Keep moving. A dead Blade here is usually a shield-phase panic dump.

When and how to play it in Reloaded

Play Wages after the Thrall. The story assumes Elexis is gone. Reloaded’s POI markers still help. Episode 5 linearization does not apply — different studio’s maps — but tick rate, restored dialogue, and weapon buffs do. Swap remastered versus SiN Gold in settings if a texture hides a switch.

Do not import a Thrall-only rocket habit. Pack ammo tables differ. Use corpses, ATMs, and the new gadgets. Secrets include posters, vents, and day/night rooms; hunt them like Secrets and Branching, but do not expect pulse-rifle parts. The bow is this pack’s identity. Combat rules still apply: Combat Guide.

The combined product still launches 24 September 2026 on Steam, GOG, Epic, PS5, PS4, Xbox Series, Xbox One, Switch, and Switch 2. The demo is not a Wages substitute. First hour: Getting Started. Nightdive gun notes: what’s new. Storefronts: platforms and Links. Index: Guides Hub. Manero versus Elexis: characters.

Finish Elexis. Then collect from Gianni Manero.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the most common questions.

Who made Wages of SiN?

2015 Inc built the 1999 mission pack. Reloaded includes it in the same Nightdive product as Ritual's main campaign. You play it after Elexis, not instead of her.

Who is Gianni Manero?

A Freeport mafia boss who uses leftover U4 to breed goliath mutants. He replaces Elexis as the villain for this pack. See also characters.

Should I play Wages before the main campaign?

No. The story starts after SinTEK's public collapse. Follow the Walkthrough to the Thrall, then start this pack.

What did Reloaded change for the crossbow and speargun?

The *Wages* crossbow gained a detonator switch. The speargun (main-campaign underwater gun) is more effective underwater. Flamethrower damage is up. Dual Magnums fire and load independently.

Is Something of a Paradox in the Steam demo this pack?

Paradox is a *Wages of SiN* map. Demo Update #1 named it next to Missile Silo. Treat that as a trial teaser, not a reason to skip the main campaign. See the Demo Guide.

Does Wages add online PvP?

The pack is a single-player story extension. Reloaded's online PvP is a separate mode from either campaign.
