SiN Reloaded Updates Hub

What Nightdive changed, where it ships, and what is still a demo until launch.

Updates Hub

SiN Reloaded is not a texture pack on the 2020 Gold executable. Nightdive rebuilt the campaign on KEX, reworked several guns, cut a chunk of Episode 5 backtracking, and overhauled Silo and Chem so the old trap loops hurt less. This hub is the change log and the store map. Mechanical detail on each gun sits on the weapons guide. Slider names sit on settings. This page tells you what is new and where you can buy it.

The date that matters is 24 September 2026. Until then the playable build is the Steam demo. Do not treat a trailer as a patch list, and do not treat Gold as the same game in a different filter.

What’s new versus Gold

The what’s new page is the full Reloaded list: dual Magnums that fire and reload independently, remotely steered spider mines, a crossbow detonator, pulse lightning that chains, a speargun that is worth using underwater, a flamethrower that actually burns, point-of-interest markers, lighter Episode 5 backtracking, Silo and Chem gameplay overhauls, restored unused voice lines, the Gold visual toggle, 4K / 144 FPS on PC, and Switch 2’s docked 4K / 120 target.

Read that page if you already finished SiN in 1998 or Gold in 2020. The surprises are not the plot. The surprises are the Magnum that no longer parks both hands, the mine you can drive, and the maps that stopped sending you in circles.

Platforms and stores

Platforms is the store-by-store sheet: Steam (app 632950), the Steam demo (app 4679680), GOG, Epic, PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox One and Series, Nintendo Switch, and Switch 2. Wishlist the store you will actually launch from. Specs for a PC purchase belong on system requirements; the platforms page is for SKUs, upgrade paths, and the Switch 2 mouse note.

KEX is why one project can ship that many boxes. It is not why every box will show 144 FPS. Last-gen consoles run the campaign. Switch 2 is the one Nightdive quoted numbers for in public.

Demo versus launch

The demo exists to test binds, GPU caps, and the bank-to-action slice. It is not a timed beta of Wages of SiN, Area 57, or Thrall. If a feature on the what’s-new list does not appear in the trial, it is probably later in the campaign, not cut. Use the demo guide for what the trial actually contains and this hub for what the 24 September package is supposed to contain.

The Steam trial already has a public changelog: demo notes quotes Update #1 (gyro yaw/roll, Paradox lightmaps, silo medic). Making-of, the vault, and the Dennis G Deep Dive sit on behind the scenes. Producer Grover Wimberly IV’s June 2026 Deep Dive is embedded on this hub: the freeze, intended 90s jank versus real bugs, cart size, and why Reloaded is a dedicated Switch 2 SKU. Weapons-as-characters is Xaser’s interview on the weapons guide. Launch week will grow this hub again if Nightdive ships a day-one executable. Until those notes exist, do not invent them. The change list on what’s new is the pre-launch contract: weapons, maps, VO, visuals, frame-rate targets.

How to read an update on this wiki

Weapon number tweaks go to the tier list after someone has played them. Menu tweaks go to settings. Store SKUs and missing listings go to platforms. Story spoilers do not belong in patch language; they belong in characters and the walkthrough.

If you are here because a trailer dropped, start with what’s new, then platforms, then stop. The guides hub is for playing. This hub is for what changed and where it ships.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the most common questions.

When does SiN Reloaded launch?

24 September 2026 on Steam, GOG, Epic, PlayStation 4/5, Xbox One/Series, Switch, and Switch 2. The Steam demo is playable now; the full campaign is not.

Is Reloaded just SiN Gold with new textures?

No. KEX adds weapon reworks, map-flow changes, restored VO, and a Gold toggle. The list is on what's new.

Where do I wishlist it?

On the store you will launch from. Platforms has Steam, GOG, Epic, PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo notes plus the demo link.

Will this hub track patches after launch?

Yes, when Nightdive publishes notes. Until 24 September 2026 the useful pages are what's new and platforms, not a fictional patch number.

Does the demo include every Reloaded change?

No. The demo is a slice. Independent Magnums and the Gold toggle show up early; Area 57, Thrall, and Wages wait for the full campaign. See the demo guide.
