SiN Reloaded Enemies
Mercs, mutants, Mancini, Thrall, and the Area 57 roster — and the gun that answers each.
Freeport’s opposition starts as a bank crew with shotguns and ends as a family argument written in U4. Reloaded does not replace Ritual’s bestiary; it makes the guns you use against it more honest. Read this page as a matchup list. The weapons guide has the ammo math. The combat guide has movement, knockaway weapons, and locational damage. The tier list is the default rank when a room mixes two of these types.
SiN always let you shoot a gun out of a merc’s hands and punish a chest shot harder than a shin. That still matters. A mutant with claws does not drop a rifle for you to steal. Know which fight you are in before you spend rockets.
Mancini’s mercs and street muscle
The opening heist is Antonio Mancini’s people: pistols, shotguns, the odd rifle, hostages you can still fail. They take cover like 1998 AI — which means they peek, they stack in doorways, and they will shoot Blade in the legs if you only aim at hats. Magnums and the shotgun own this layer. Reloaded’s independent dual Magnums make a two-man doorway cheaper than it used to be. Do not invent a rocket problem in the atrium.
Knock a shotgun out of a thug’s hands if he is close; stealing it is faster than waiting for a crate. If a timer is running, ignore the last pistol in a corner.
SinTEK security
Once Elexis is the name on the radio, the uniforms get better and the angles get longer. Riflemen on decks, chaingun nests, rocket troopers on gorges. This is assault-rifle and chaingun country, with the sniper for the one silhouette on a ridge. Pulse lightning, once you have the rifle assembled, is the Reloaded answer to a packed fireteam: chain the first bolt through the cluster instead of dueling each helmet.
Turrets and vehicles are rocket or mine problems. Remote spider mines let you steer a charge under a nest you cannot peek. The crossbow detonator does the same if you can plant and wait. Use loadouts before silo and Chem, both overhauled in Reloaded.
U4 mutants
U4 is SinTEK’s mutagen, sold on the street and injected at industrial strength when Elexis is angry. Mutants close distance, ignore some of the politeness of cover, and punish players who only packed bullets. Reloaded’s hotter flamethrower is the honest tool: paint a lane, backpedal, do not hose a whole wing on one target. Shotgun still works at kissing range. Magnums work if you hit the mass that used to be a chest.
Cloned Mancini-shapes and lab accidents are why energy and flame rise on the tier list after the bank. If a creature has no gun to knock away, stop playing the disarm minigame and start making space.
Mancini, the first boss problem
Mancini begins as a short gangster in a suit who was supposed to steal one deposit box and instead throws a full bank circus. Elexis injects him with concentrated U4 for the failure. He flees through construction and the subway while the drug rewrites him. The fight you remember is not the man. It is the Manumit: a clawed brute that ambushes Blade across the abandoned subway in several hits rather than one health bar on a pedestal.
Treat each ambush as a shotgun or Magnum burst plus an exit. Do not stand in a tunnel with rockets. After the body is identified, HardCorps learns SinTEK is the manufacturer — which is how the campaign stops being a robbery and starts being a lab war. For the person rather than the boss script, see characters.
Area 57 experiments
Containment Area 57 is Elexis’s Darwin theater. Blade is captured, run through chambers, and forced to survive things that were never meant to be shot with a Magnum. Small red beasts, moving-wall rooms, cloned brutes, water platforms with no spare health. Reloaded’s point-of-interest markers help you find the exit and the cache; they do not flatten the melee. If a creature has no wind-up, you do not challenge it at arm’s length.
Pulse, flame, and Destabilizer cells belong here. Overcharge still kills you. Complete the chambers, revert if the map asks, and leave. Check secrets only after the safe path on the walkthrough.
Thrall Sinclaire
Thrall is Elexis’s father, a SinTEK scientist long before he is a boss. By the time Blade meets him, he is a mutated end-of-campaign horror with a saw and, after you knock him down, rockets. The Quantum Destabilizer is the intended argument if you have cells left. Magnum and chaingun work if you do not. Keep a wall nearby for rocket strafes, never hug the saw, and do not overcharge.
Elexis uses family as inventory. Motive lives on characters; the saw lives here.
Wages of SiN: Manero’s freaks
Wages of SiN swaps Elexis’s spotlight for Gianni Manero, a mob boss running his own mutant pipeline. Expect mafia gunmen first and engineered hulks second. The same rules apply: bullets for suits, flame and energy for flesh that used to be suits. Manero’s Goliath-scale creatures are rocket and Destabilizer food. Reloaded ships Wages in the same package on 24 September 2026. Until then, the Steam demo is the place to practice merc basics, not Thrall.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers to the most common questions.
What is the first boss in SiN Reloaded?
Antonio Mancini, after Elexis injects him with pure U4. You fight the mutated Manumit form across the subway in several ambushes, not a single pedestal duel. Shotgun and Magnums, plus an exit plan.
How do I handle Area 57?
Do not melee experiments that have no wind-up. Use flame, pulse, and space. Point-of-interest markers help you find chambers and caches. The walkthrough is the safe order.
What counters mutants versus mercs?
Mercs: Magnum, shotgun, knockaway weapons. Mutants: flamethrower (stronger in Reloaded), shotgun at close range, pulse if they clump. See the weapons guide for ammo cost.
How do I beat Thrall?
Backpedal, avoid the saw, strafe his rockets near a wall, and spend Quantum Destabilizer cells without overcharging. Chaingun works if the Destabilizer is dry.
Are Wages of SiN enemies in the main campaign?
No. Manero's mafia and engineered hulks sit in the Wages of SiN pack, which Reloaded includes at launch. The main story is HardCorps versus SinTEK.
